FIRST LOOK TRAILER UNVEILED FOR BILL DUKE’S LEGAL /THRILLER “CREATED EQUAL”

As post-production nears completion, the first promotional trailer for “Created Equal” was unveiled on the movie’s social media pages and website. Bill Duke ("Dark Girls", “Hoodlums”, “Sister Act 2”, “Deep Cover”, “A Rage in Harlem”) directs the legal drama/thriller from the screenplay written by Ned Bowman and Michael Ricigliano Jr. and Joyce Renee Lewis. It is based on a novel written by Roger A. Brown, who is also serving as Executive Producer.

Created Equal is a story about Thomas Reilly, a cocky, up-and-coming attorney begrudgingly takes on a case for Sister Alejandra, who's desperate to become a priest in the Catholic Church. Against his supervisor's wishes, Tommy files suit against the Archdiocese of New Orleans for sex discrimination without justifiable cause.

As the trial unfolds, an extremist concocts a plot to stop the heresy against the church by attacking and threatening to kill Alejandra if they don't back off.

The film’s cast includes Aaron Tveit (BrainDead, Grease Live!), Edy Ganem (Devious Maids), Lou Diamond Phillips (Longmire), Gregory Alan Williams (Greenleaf) and Yohance Myles (Shots Fired).

Created Equal is produced by Thada Catalon of T-CAT Films.
